its good stuff, but only when you need it. Being a soil grower, you dont need it. Most of the time its not necessary in hydro either. Very expensive shit too so I use it sparingly.

Got a lot of suppliments going on there already. Don't add any more or you could throw everything out of whack

I guess i should clarify we have not been using the bio grow in veg. We figured it wasn't necessary considering what was already in the soil(but we own a bottle). Once we switch to 12/12 we have been using the bio-bloom at 5ml/gal dilution which is a 36% dilution rate according to the bottle. Most of the 12/12 plants look good except one that we FIM'd (all others where topped) this plant looked fairly N deficient yesterday but since the addition of hygro it has greened up nice.

i am trying to reduce my dependence on all of the nutes, i have heard Hygro is good for this. It has made two of the plants green up very nicely and i heard it helps digest old roots and promote the growth of new ones. I have read peoples posts about how they use it through all stages at around a 50-70% dilution. Anyone have any ideas?

The Hygro bottle reccomends 4-6ml/gal we have been using 3.75ml/gal.

Thanks for reading now go take a rip

Also i forgot to say on some that we have in veg (24/0) we gave them the subculture about 2 weeks ago they look great but the subculture caused all 6 to take a weird bend at the top for some ideas on that also?

If you are using any organic nutrients whether that be in hydro or soil medium, I would not recommend using hygrozyme:

I can't pinpoint which grower persuaded me to try Hygro, but my understanding was that it was to speed up the decomposition of dead roots, turning them into plant food faster.

Interested in hearing your thoughts, GD2K.

never experienced the unstable pH, I use tap water.. not RO

It does turn dead roots into available nutrients for the plants. This usually isnt an issue in soil environments. Its handy in hydro for getting rid of root rot, thats about it as far as I'm concerned.

It increases nutrient uptake but even with that property i still feel like its price outweighs its usefulness most of the time.

i agree with gd2k. i don't use hygrozym but i do use sensizym (which might be even more expensive). it does work but because of the price i use it sparingly. i find the most benefit when using the sensizym (or hygrozym) along with organic b and fulvic acid to help plants recoup from various types of stress (transplanting, pruning, cloning, heat stress, and the occassional drought).

one love.
