If I hadta guess, the holes thru the lids makes it hard to re-sell them? Then again, lids I can buy by the thousand for $.03ea. Maybe they want to designate "sample" on a batch they changed/misprinted labels on? I.E., supplier misprinted labels, info is good but wrong logo or something, so we give em as samples. Holes make sure they don't get past our QC/Packing Dept. and hit the stores like that. I do things like that all the time- a freebie that used to be scrap = more customers.

Sent em an email, they said gimmie 'bout 10 bucks, we'll send em.........EDIT = call first, to get a shipping quote. As HerbalT is about to remind me, it goes higher than $10......

I wonder if they allow more than 1 per house?

Just so you know, FG, the "about $10" could turn into $20 if you live on the east coast. It's a 21lb package, so it's a fair shipping charge, but my email said about 10, then on the phone it was 10-15, then after the order it turned out to be 20. Granted, a single bottle of the regular nutes retails for about 17, and the bloom booster almost 40!

Yeah, HerbalT, I called the man himself. The lady who answered the phone said Jesse was doing it mainly on his own, and when he came on, he said "send me about $19." He said he'd know the exact price after it was boxed.....and if it was higher, he'd still send it. Still, not too damn bad for 6 quarts of stuff!!
I fixed the above post to say it may be more than $10. Still a good deal!
He also said, if you do dutch pots/ hempy, use a beneficial bateria with it- it is mainly meant for soil/coco/potting mix, but can work for perlite/vermiculite.

Looking forward to trying it!! Thanks again for the heads up.

It still has the foam gasket on the inside of the cap.

I just think it's there to better distinguish it as a 'sample' and possibly to limit its shelf life.

No smell comes from my bottles.

So been awhile since the last post. Got the same sample pack, cost $20 to ship to my neck of the woods. Still in the construction process as well as being a seedling so haven't used the stuff yet. Has anyone used this yet? Any good?

I just found this thread! Think GH is still doing the giveaway? I sent 'em an email last night so I guess I'll find out soon enough. Hope they come through. This stuff sounds great.

I got an email reply earlier today. I just got off the phone with them and they'll ship my samples out in the next few days. Woo Hoo! Killer deal! I'll post when I receive it.

He said they usually have some sort of release promo but haven't gotten anything going yet so they're doing this for now. (I think he said it's around $140 of nutes) He didn't know how much longer they'd be doing this.
