i have a 4-5 week old plant a little less than a foot tall and alot of bushyness i have some fish emulsions.... its 5-1-1 is that weak? can i use it? its pretty old but it says dont store the mixture....so i have to mix up a new batch of water/emulsions everytime i water? it says for herbs combined 3 tablespoons emulsions 1 gal water, can i just water my plant once a week with the whole gallon so i dont waste? apprecaite the help by the way im growing in a bucket

![]() ![]() ![]() | Cut the recommended dosage in half the first time you use it..... fish emulsion is very safe and generally will not burn tender plants, but some weed likes more nutes than others. Until you see how yours reacts, play it safe. You could leave the whole gallon sitting around, but it smells really rank, so I just mix what I'll use the one time. I would feed half strength every other watering, at least until the plant asks for more by yellowing lower leaves. | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() | I've never seen any "go bad"- it just gets thicker and gooey-er (?!) and more difficult to pour out. So you just shake it up more to mix it. | ||
