I just scored a bag of bat poop and it says on the bag that the preferred method of application is SIDE DRESSING. Does anyone know what side dressing is?

| It means that you sprinkle some on the surface of the soil around the plant, and scratch it is as best you can without digging really down into the roots. Also known as top dressing. | ||

Cool, now that i know what side dressing is, can anyone tell me when it is best to use bat guano? thanx in advance.

it probley says 10-1-1- on the bag so best in veggy stage take 3-4tbs put it in a gallon milk jug add a gallon of water let it sit for a week in a cool dark closet (with the cap on) strain it with a panty hose so all you have is the water mix and feed its not realy possible to over do it so water freely just dont use it all the time once twice a month will be good and keep your fert schedual the same you could put it on top of the soil but its not realy going to do mutch better to mix within the dirt or mix it like i said in the water for best results hope this helps also ive herd that old guano acts like a super bloom fert (old meaning the bat took a **** 50-100 years ago) it will say on the bag i found some here where i live they have the 10-1-1 and a 1-10-1 | ||
