Here is what I am doing...

Am planting soon into this mixture after 1.5 weeks of birth:

50% miracle grow potting mix with moisture control

30% perlite

20% worm casings

1tbls per gallon of blood meal

1tbls per gallon of bone meal

Am going to sprinkle a little bat guano on top.

And will ph the soil to 6.0 before transplanting.

1 week before flowering I will add some salt peter and no salt every 3rd waterings to enhance the buds.

Is this ok Organic?

Xzoomd is beginning to sprout.

alfalpha meal is a much better choice......hardwood ash, canelope, banana, potatoe rind ash are XLNt sources of pot ash.... blood & bone meal can carry the incurable MadCow virus.

3hounds is starting to flower.3hounds is starting to flower.3hounds is starting to flower.

Don't inhale bone meal dust- it is made from cow bones, who may possibly carry mad cow disease.

Your mix looks fine to me, jamesgang.
I do use alfalfa meal, but in addition to those other ammendments, or later as a tea.

What I was trying to say through last nights stupor was that by itself, alfalfa is an almost perfect veg fert & kelp for flowering.teas are probably best.
MadCow is a very lethal disease that turns the brain into a spongy matter. There was an outbreak in England awhile back. Here, testing is inadequate. They have found it in a coyote in Utah ( i believe) & the first human case was recently found in Wyoming. Bloodmeal would probably carry it before bonemeal. Why chance it.

hightimes

in a recent issue of the above mentioned mag., There was a reference to using used tampons in soil, or hydro, the author said that there has not been a plant she has grown without a part of her in it
who's got some idea for dosages of tampons?

I once mailed someone a used tampon, along with a pile of dog ****. I don't know why he got so mad; I was only trying to help him fertilize his plants.

It's a wolf howling with a moon. I guess I'll change it if people can't tell what it is. It's hard to get a good image with the pixel limit.
