![]() | I have three ladies in their third week of flowering under 400w hps, all seems well they have just finished (i think) "the stretch" or have at least slowed down and are now thickening up around this new growth, decided to go organic early in the grow and used fish emulsion (5-1-1) for veg and then switched to 1.4-1.5-4.5 (15ml per 4 litres of water) fert at the start of flowering, I have been topping up with phosphate for additional P and feeding every other water so in short plants are getting a feed every 6-7 days. Girls are in 50% soil 25% perilite 25% vermiculite mix. Considering the low NPK ratio of these ferts would it be ok to double or even triple the strength of the mix mid way through flowering? Ive had a hard time getting hold of water soluable organic flowering ferts suitable for the girls around these parts, anything with high P & K is also loaded with nitrogen, look forward to any replies. | ||

| Go ahead and increase the strength of the mix if you think they need more nutes, but do it gradually, watching for signs of nute burn. For water soluble organic flowering nutes, look into guano. I use some that's 3-10-1 and I've seen 1-10-1 too. You could supplement that with kelp extract for more K. | ||
