![]() | there may be a few residual goodies in there, but for the most part the stem is wood, which requires either a fungus or cellulase to digest, and then the goodies in the cells would come out. I know one thing for sure... it can't hurt. Let us know how it worked for you. ![]()

If you are looking for a designer tea recipe, I have this one, which isn't so designer, but it works: Into a brewer (which is a sealed bucket with an airstone in it) put: compost (whatever you want, orange peels, organic stuff, poop, whatever) algae (for micronutrients) molasses or a sugar source (to support the fungus and bacteria in the tea) Put all the goodies in there, and if you can keep the temperature up around 85, that is ideal, otherwise as high as you can. Turn on the airstone and let it bubble for a few days, then strain it. You can add all kinds of stuff, too, like bone meal, fish emulsion, just make sure to have some compost to provide the fungi and bacteria. Good luck. ![]()

![]() | right on... You can mess with the tea recipe, sky's the limit. The important thing is that you have a carbon source (sugar) a nitrogen source (compost) and a source of bacteria and fungi (compost). Go nuts and find thee best recipe. I would bet Organic already has one.
