![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I am confused about this post.. I want to try using molasses as a nutrient for my plants. I have liquid molasses with nothing added. It is called Grandma's Molasses or something. Can I use it? Do I just take a teaspoon or a tablespoon and add it to my water and mix?

I watered with approximately 1/2 tsp. to 2 liters of distilled water after reading about this; saw a difference almost overnight. And, FYI, your basic, run of the mill, right from your local supermarket variety molasses is all you need; mine was called Grandma's. How's your cab grow going? Nelson

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What's the going opinion about other sugar sources? I'm thinking specifically in an aerated compost tea arrangement...I recently combined my Blackstrap Molasses with some organic 'Demara' sugar to make my compost tea produce a better beneficial bacteria count than I had been getting with just molasses... Maybe I just wasn't using enough molasses, but I'm out of the organic sugar and the molasses, so I was just thinking about other sugar sources for my BBs. Any ideas? -the man with the golden nug ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | so from reading this i understand you are giving the microbes in the soil a fat red bull\, correct? so that will make em break down the organic matter in the soil so the plant can take up more and grow bigger and better? also i used fish emulsion for veg and then switched to a chem fert in flower would it be beneficial for me to still use molasses?
