Lightbulb Sewage Lagoon Water
permalink

Near my grow site there is a sewage lagoon with human wastes. I was wondering if i could use the water from that to water my plants. Because if I could it would be so easy to water them. And i have one more question, when i put clones outdoors is there anything special i should do to them or should i just put them in the soil like any seedling?

it's not good to use any waste from a meat eating animal. and that water probably has all sorts bad stuff in it..let alone being stagnant.

if the clones have roots and they have been acclimated to the outdoors...yes you can put them out. if they havn't been acclimated, which is putting them outside for a progressive amount of time until they get used to the elements, do so.

(sorry...lol...old Pink Floyd reference)

Water treatment facilities are often heavily monitored, and if not, they are at least patrolled during shift checks. This is more of an issue near municipal reservoirs that are slated for recirculation. I remember sneaking in to a reservoir in Portland's Washington park, just to find myself running from a vehicle with emergency lights flashing...

...be careful.

Well...I'm not a practitioner, but the Herberts (DUNE) were doing this when I lived in Washington State 25 years ago. Frank was a terraforming ecology enthusiast, and he admired the Chinese for their efficient use of their arrable land to feed an enormous population.

Enjoy
