at your local garden shop they should have plenty of different insecticides designed to kill specific creatures. Just don't overdo it or you can produce super bugs. Also make sure they're not laying eggs on or inside it. Look for ideosyncratic appearences at the internodes and leaves.

Just use a mild organic soap spray every so often to control the bugs.Grasshoppers are known to be around mj.Use insecticides for the pesky critters when you can't seem to rid them with the soap spray.

If you want a real good insect recipe then here's one that I use that I learned from Panama. This is a recipe for an organic insect repellant that works pretty well with most insects.

Ingredients:
3 hot green peppers (canned or fresh)
2 or 3 cloves garlic
3/4 tsp liquid soap
3 cups water

Puree the peppers and garlic cloves in a blender. Pour into a spray bottle and add the liquid soap and water. Let stand 24 hours. Strain out pulp and spray onto infested plants, making sure to coat both tops and bottoms of leaves.

Semi-Organic pest control...
permalink

On my garden I use this mixture:

Take 1 bag of chewing tobacco and boil in a gallon of water for 20 minutes. Let cool. Strain out the tobacco.

To resulting mixture add a cap full of ammonia, a tea spoon of cheap generic dish soap (the watery weak kind you see at stores like Shop N Save), a can of beer, and a can of cola.

It does a pretty good job of perking plants up (as it has some nutrients in it), and seems to keep most insects from bothering them. If slugs are a heavy problem in your area you might want to omit the beer (as it tends to attract them).

The soap and nicotine are supposed to give them indegestion (and nicotine is a contact & ingestion poison for a lot of them). It wont kill everything off, but it will tend to make your plants less appealing than the stuff around them.

thank you soo much.. this is my second attempt at a grow.. my first one was just a real big experiment.. i did everything to the plants just to see how they reacted... i end up with a oz off 3 plants...... this time.. i have 6 plants outside.. and they are starting to look promising .. i hope to get anywhere from 8-12 ozs as my plants are looking like they will be able to do that....
thank you guys soo much... hopefully this will rid of those damn bugs that threaten my babies.
