Yea I decided im not going to harvest nothing not even a sample bud until the buds are bigger than a lighter... cause if I harvest some sample buds earily and I actually get high I will end up harvesting a whole plant earily LOL... its just how I am... I made me a homemade gravity bong to start keeping in my room... im waiting for my dealer to come over im going to get me some mid-grade and im going to keep all the seeds for next years grow... but theres not but like 2 or 3 seeds in the whole bag.. but I cant wait to try out this bong... also my neighbor let me barrow some UFC fighting tapes... Have you ever watched that stuff veto? its ****ing awsome.. I got 2 tapes and my room mate is going to the beach with his girl friend so im going to get blown with a few friends later tonight... woohoo im happy.

Oh yea, if anyone here has tryed that "no watering for 2 weeks harvest" please give us your input and tell us what you thought and if it made a difference in the buds..

just an idea but i bet if you dont water them and they are pretty mature it will help make the pistels turn faster... I think

My plants go through water deprivation every 3rd of 4th day. Not because I planned it that way, because I just cant water them more than that.
I tell you what tho... the yellow and dying leaves that I have smoked are knock out. Literally. I make my bro smoke it with me just so I know I'm not losing my mind. Its at least as good as the commercial around here.

I went down to my plants to day and I gave them some MG bloom booster 10-52-10, and my sativa plant was leaning allot... nothing was broken, and the whole plant was leaning not just the top... It has never did this.. Last night we got a small rain, and all I can guess is that the buds + rain made the plant kind of top heavy... Is there anything I can do to make this plant stand up straight again? the plants is 6 1/2 ft tall Sativa.

Also I got a sample bud about as long as your thumb from the bottem branch of my Indica/kush plant. She is really becoming a nice mature plant. Tuesday will be her 5th week of flowering. She is starting to get allot of tan and yellowish-orange dots all over some of the leafs... I talked to someone and they said it could be mold but I kind of doubt it is... Does anyone know what this is?

Ok I went to see if the MG and the water helped the plants today and It hasnt helped a bit... Also I noticed on my indica/something plant that there is crystals forming on the buds and leafs... im happy.. But does anyone know what this orange and tan **** is that is forming allot on my leafs?? It is in little dots all over the leafs... what should I do... any idea?

Hey Dudes and dudettes - I'm back from San Diego and Mexico (Gawd it was good to be surfing some real waves again - the Gulf just doesn't cut it for a hardcore surfdog) ... anyway - Redbud, those rust-colored spots often accompany the yellowing of the fan leaves that goes with the flowering period - there's a great botanical-tech name for it that slips my mind (told you I was gettin' old) - going from veg phase to flowering, the plant starts stripping minerals from the fan leaves for use in the flowering and that makes the color changes occur - Cannabis's way of joining the Fall leaf color changes. In Mexico (maybe other places too) the farmers don't harvest until all the big leaves have turned yellow and fallen off - a natural approach to manicuring. And Redbud - you dawg - you picked some early! Not that I fault you - I thought you probably would ('cause you gave it away in your words and in the past Veto and I both have picked some early ourselves - I'm speaking for you Veto but am I wrong?) - problem is that when your buds fill out and you see what those baby buds would have become you're gonna kick yourself - but hey man, you're totally stoked and impatient and I understand. On the water deprivation issue, I heard that story for years but I think I've read that it's an old wives' tale (assuming there are some old wives who grow pot!) - pardon my sexist and age-ist comment. As I recall, what's at issue is whether or not you can somehow force the plant to make more THC through water deprivation - since water is absolutely necessary for transpiration which is the force behind all upward movement in a plant, I suspect that deprivation won't help and may even harm your harvest. As a final word, I haven't tried water deprivation so I have no first hand experience.

Hey Veto, Redbud, and other growers in the Carolinas - glad to see you've finally received some rain - hope it continues to bless you. Hey now, dem girls are looking good about right now, but I know one thing - they're gonna look ma whole lot better in another month! My grrrlz got a lot of rain while I was gone, almost beat 'em to death! Had to work for two hours building a support system for them - 'cause as they bud out they're gonna need it!

What part of NC you from redbud? I live in Fayette'nam'.. This is my first year growing outdoors.. I have 8 plants. 6 are females.. largest is 7 1/2 ft. I have two white rhino females that are 2 weeks into flowering. my largest plant is just now starting to bud. 5 of my plants are just swhagg, and i got a male skunk strain... I plan to sale alot of the dirtweed. How are your plants doing? It rained like cats and dogs today..and yesterday, so i hope there lookin good. Just wanted to post and say what up to fellow growers.. holla

I heard that if you piss in you soil, it helps the plant.. anyone know?

Where'd you get you bagseeds from? Seems like everyone around me smokes dookie, and i need some seeds.

Its been raining great, the plants are loving it, I havent had to visit for 2 weeks because they are being takin such good care of by mother nature. My girlfriend is going to go and pull the other males if any more have appeared tomorrow. I myself have moved up the road a tad and am going to college. Its ok i suppose. The only reason I piss around my plants is to keep deer away.

Hey redbud - did you read about Veto's crop damage in another thread? How about you- deer or weather hurt anything? I cut my hermie this weekend and he/she gives a good cerebral high...the girls are looking phatter every day.
