indoors is relatively safer, as no one can see it behind closed doors. If found, however, there'll be no mystery as to whose grow it is! Growing Indoors costs more, since you have to buy good lights to get the grow to work (for 4 plants, you'll want about $200-300 worth of lights). You have to buy pots and soil and fertilizer. WIth artificial light, you can dictate when the plant begins flowering, the temps, all the conditions.Outdoors all your security is in site selection. You want a spot that's open to the sun but not to people nearby. You'll want at least 5 hours of direct sunlight per day. You can also use other plants to hide your pot. If grown outside your property, it will be a little harder to pin on you. (Do not grow on someone else's property as they'll get your punishment and that's just bad joojoo. Try for a no-man's land...) You may need to supply soil or find good natural soil to grow in (Indiana has pretty good soil). Mother nature takes care of the light and the water, but if you don't get enough rain you'll need to water the plants yourself. You'll also need to fertilize, either by watering or by mixing organic ferts in the soil. (YOur previous plants may not have gotten enough light or were in bad soil). You're at MOmma nature's mercy re: temps, wind, humidity, and the growth/vegitative cycles and therefore how long it takes to finish your grow. Read our grow guide (1st thread in this forum) it'll answer a lot of basic questions. Good Luck!
