Optics is beginning to sprout.

First, let me thank everyone for all the help for this newbie here. My question is this: What is the proper depth that a hole should be dug. I'm guessing it should be about 4", which is what I have mine dug at. What about width? Or is not really something I should even be thinking of. I just want to get my first grow ready to go on the right foot.

Thanks

Smile Dig Deeper

4 inches might be good enough for daffodils, but marijuana needs room for the roots to grow. I dig my holes 4x4 feet across and about 3 feet deep. I then mix the soil from the hole with a bag of ProMix and fill it back in. This will accomodate a plant spot of 3-4 seeds at 1/2 inch depth.

Toke it easy, Pan.
