![]() | I live in the Midwest west of the Great lakes, anyways i plan on planting the crops soon, well there's a swamp near my house(no deer) and i was thinking bout planting there. i was also thinking of sprouting a few seeds in the house then planting them in a bit of water in the swamp, would they drown ?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Swamps are not suitable for growing MJ. They like to dry out completely between waterings. Seedlings would drown within a day... they especially need air available to the roots. Try to find a nice, sunny, "normal" piece of ground!

![]() | would the plants grow if they were just near the swamp ? theres a hill on the north side of the swamp that would be perfect to plant cause it would be on the south side, right ? theres no dear, water is near, and no one ever goes in it, its really the only place close to plant so if it was on the hill would the soil and all that be good enough ? i suppose if it wont grow it just wont grow.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The soil from swamps and bogs is perfect for growing and if you can find an elevated area that will have the plants 4-5 feet above the highwater mark you'll have prime growing property.
