is this a good idea? to start off indoors before flowering or even in the middle of the vegetative stage, then moving the plants outside?

dirty, starting indoors is fine, let them get good and healthy, then move them outdoors.
i've got an indoor mother that is ready to go outside this year, she'll go out with a bang, or at least a puff

peace

Indoor to Outdoor
permalink

Hmm... some strange SQL things going on around here with registration.... looks like debug stuff....

Anyway... in regards to the indoor to outdoor question...

Here's the scenario:
The kids are about 1-1.5 foot tall, approximately 1.5-2 months old. Freakin' beauties, I must say. Most have been pruned to induce two buds on top, and most have responded well, having had a couple weeks to recover. The sooner they are moved outside, the better, in terms of security and peace of mind. Considering beginning flowering light (12 hrs) on the 9th of May, and sexing them approximately two weeks later (the 23rd of May). They would then be transplanted around this time to the out of doors.

Questions: Is this two early to move them? Will the light increase cause them to go back into vegatative growth, thereby losing yield? Is June 21st the best time to move them?

Thanks S2.
That is some good info to make my decisions based upon.

When you say 'if you're ok with a fall harvest'... does that mean keeping them inside would not be a fall harvest?

Assuming I opt for transplant in mid May after two weeks of flowering, what is the month where the buds are likely to reach optimum maturity?

Thanks... and feel free to direct me to the proper source if I'm repeating old questions!
