I have come to the conclusion that miracle gro is garbage and shouldn't even be considered to be used at all for anyplants, not to mention that its all chemicals and your buds would taste hella bad but, i wasn't even happy with the results when i used it on a tomatoe plant!!!! So if you are using it not shame on you but buy something organic!!!!!

![]() | Organic probably is the way to go if you have circumstances and time to make it work - probably better karma and earthkindliness too - but, with all due respect, I'm a busy cat and my lady who has produced spectacular flowers and herbs (oregano, thyme, rosemary, etc) has had tremendous success using the chemicals (Miracle Gro in several formualtions) plus it seemed to work well on my outdoor girls last year, eventually producing a 12' giant that gave me a pound of dried bud from just the first half of the harvest (thieves got the rest). I had stopped the ferts about a month before and there was no chemical taste. Yeah, if I had the time and the place I would do my own composting etc - but with my busy life even my trips to the "plantation" have to be hurried. Just dumping a little pre-mixed Miracle Gro is expedient and - from my limited experience - successful in producing great smoke. So I wouldn't concur with your harsh assessment of MirGrw - I am convinced it has its place, albeit a commercial, relatively low karma place...

i dont use it cause i plan on using same garden year after year, and miracle grow and other chemical ferts, are known to build up salts in the soil after a period of time. organic ferts, will help keep longer garden life, but if u plan on using diffrent plots year after year, it wont be a big deal. just my opinion on the subject

![]() | I don't really think that it matters either I personally prefer the all natural route, but some like synthetics and you know whatever works for you, works for you. If I was to go with synthetics however I definately wouldn't go with miracle grow, no offense to any m/g enthusiasts, I'm just not a big fan of large corporations. Maybe its just me but... ![]() | You know....I read alot of threads in not only Operation Overgrow but other sites as well and found that there were more people that mis-used the "Miricle Grow" to the point where a vast majority were overdoing it and burning the hell out of the plants. After doing so.....branded the "Miricle Grow" name to....well.....garbage as said here. I am probobly the last person on earth that should voice an opinion on this being that this is my first real grow this season. I started my seedlings in "Miricle Grow" potting mix and even transplanted them into average soil that I mixed with the "Miricle Grow" mix. I'm even giving them the "MG" 20-20-20 food and they love it. Of course at 1/4 strength at first. I am not blowing your opinion out of wack. I'm just stating my opinion as you have. I love ths stuff......so far. | ||
