Cool GH Flora Nutrient Solution Tables
permalink

Ive grown using the reccomended table on the back of the bottle ranging from 25% to 50% strength. For those who dont know GH Flora is a 3 pt. solution Grow-Micro-Bloom=2-1-6-.5, 5-0-1, 0-5-4-1.5
I had success my first dro grow ever with some defiency during flowering and harvested a lil over an o. I also added GH Koolbloom 0-10-10 during transition and flowering which couldve hadsomething to do with the defiency. I only flushed with water and ran water through the last 2wks, but harvest tastes a lil planty after 6days dryed and 1wk cured. second time around i want to add botanicares sweet into the mix and get some good taste into the girls. Ive been trying to do some research on how to calculate ur own formula fit to needs of a cannabis plant. What goal should I be looking for? I got to This calculator website during my search and read this to be suggested 100P-100N-200K-60Mg. Is this correct? Is this only refering to flowering? Ive also read about Lucas' Formula which is 0G-10M-5B ml/g (veg.) and 0G-8M-16B ml/g (flowering), which does away with the grow pt of the solution. Is this correct? The site I was at also had 3 other formulas but im still having trouble customizing my own table here. Im new in the grow world especially because its dro now so I could use all the advice I can get. I just want some tasty buds and i realize now its probably not gonna come from a table of nutrients designed for tomatoes and general use on the back of the bottles. Any help from those who've used GHs Flora series is greatly appreciated. I gotta come up with a perfect soultion... My girls have started germinating.

ADF--I use the GH series of nutes, and have used them for years now. You have to learn to be able to read how your plant is doing. I find that having a good healthy plant through the flowering stages of growth, using their nutrients to the best ability I have, and a good flush, and the plant will do the rest for smoothness and taste for me.

I've tried adding molasses to the mix, and always come back to just the regular nutrients, the right way, and I end up with a nice smooth, and smell to each specific strain of marijuana. Some stronger, or smellier than the other, but a blueberry that smells just like blueberries as an example.

I'm sure someone has used the sweet leaf, but I haven't as of yet. I think you'll be happy with or without it, but suggest without and get a bud that you are proud of, you'll also like the smell I'd bet then too.

I'd be interested to hear what the changes were in smell or taste with using that though, since I never have.

Happy Nuting

Bluecheese posted a table from a website called hydroponics.net.
I tried it and it works great. I wouldn't suggest going full strenght on it right away but build up on the strength and read your plants. Also you will have to adjust a bit if you have a 10 week strain vs an 8 week strain.. and use florakleen when you do your final flush and you should consider using that to flush about every 3 weeeks for a day or to to prevent nute lockout....which may be why you were showing a deficiency in the first place.
Good luck

So I went back to this site CannaStats - Nutrient Profiles for Cannabis and put together this profile for the Flora
First couple weeks 1.25tsp./gal. Grow - 1/2 Micro - 1.75 Bloom
Veg. 3/4 - 2.75 - 2.5
transition 0 - 1.25 - 3.25
flowering 0 - 3/4 - 3.5

Does this look good to any of those experienced with Flora?
I also wanted to add botanicares sweet in, but looking at the back and comparing to the bloom now, it has all the magnesium and iron that bloom has but more. The difference is sweet has sulfur and sugar.
