I'm amazed how much some of you are using these, and on the vegging side of things. Why??

Any of these(carbo load, sweet leaf, syrup, molasses, sugar cane, etc....) can carry the plant over from when you stop giving nutes until you harvest the plant.

And in the process help with the taste and smell while they continue growing strong while using up the nutes during the flush.

I don't use it at a high enough dosage that the plant would think it's still getting many nutes, and that's at a tablespoon per gallon.

So they are only needed and usually used at the beginning of the flush for one or two waterings. At least that's how I use it, and have seen a few articles on this exact same thing.

October HT magazine has an article for one that I just read within the last few weeks about this too for growing tastier buds.

Using them during the vegging side of things isn't gonna help with the taste of the buds when done flowering, and the small amount of different nutes, I'd be careful for if it will cause any deficiency signs, or overnuting with the other nutes being given.

I just use them like I said, one or two times right when the flush starts out.

I get the full benefit of the taste and smell with that few times.

I still get the clean smoking and fully flushed plants.

Don't have any extra cost for using a carbohydrate nutrient when it's not beneficial. IMHO

And less things in the mix for nutrients usually means less chances of something getting mixed up and having nutrient problems show up with my grow.

Glad to see it works out for you people giving it that much. Anyone done any tests of use vs. non use for those longer periods of time??

And please, only say you tested and your results if you really did test them. That's the only way we'll be able to help each other figure out which way does seem to work better for us.

I have some questions running through my mind already, but will see if someone has done the testing that I can ask more specifically to them.

Happy Growing to make your Buds Tastier

thats a very good point. unless you would have a strictly organic grow, as it would feed the bacteria in the soil.

anybody used molasses with a hempy? just was wondering because I'm starting my third week of flower and I'm giving them nutes every 24 hours now.....should I add the molasses every watering? or maybe every third? Any suggestions?

I've started giving my ebb n flo buckets 1 tea per gal at the same time that I give Gravity, around day 35. I have hempy buckets that are about 2 weeks into flo. I'll be giving them the molasses and the Gravity at that time.
