ya know, i have not had experience with that one inparticular, but i have some other things that suit the fungus world perfectly in my book. there are beneficial fungis and harmful ones. bacterias you want to keep out of your grow room, because a room that is not sterile calls for bad things to happen that would ruin all previous efforts. fungi talk. mychorrizal fungi, read up on it, i use it for all my gardening ventures , from the blessed cannibis to even grapevines! i talk about it often on this site , but cannot get over how beneficial it is in horticulture. it creates little threads through the roots that look like little hairs. they are called "hyphae". they enable the root system to take in the all of the nutes the soil has to offer, while regulating ph so its always balanced with alkalinity and acidity. so as a result, the roots are thick, thick, healthy abundadnt roots. it makes the overall grow cheaper, and easier. a pound bag costs 85 dollars, and that will last you a long while.

the AN lineup works if....

you got the $$$cheddar$$$ to pay for it. i agree with the doc in saying that it works, and it works really well. it is simple to use and control all factors (ppm and pH). The problem is the cost. you pay too much for their products because of their huge marketing campaign. They even got nancy and conrad using them in showtime's weeds .

i currently have the WHOLE AN organic lineup (i know, i know i was a sucker before gc.) i paid a fortune for it but it works very well. as i run out of certain products i will be buying replacements from earth juice and a few others. for the cost of enough AN for one to two cycles i could buy about a year and a half worth of EJ products along with a few additives.

doc ... i am definetly going to try and replace my AN piranha and tarantula with the GH subculture. thanks! these two products along with AN's voodoo juice and sensizyme were my favorites, but the cost is killing me. any other advice on root zone beneficials would be greatly appreciated.

420-all-day ... sorry i didn't mean to jack your thread. hope this stuff helps.

AN ... great products, but just about the same results could be had for 1/4 of the cost. just my

one love.

I do run the Advanced Nutrients organic line and I love the results. But I was puttering around the forums today and saw this (WOW OLD) thread. This might be a long shot, but any update on how that switch out went?

I gotta say I get what you're saying about cost, but I'm a bit nervous about switching out what I know works...

I use Piranha, works really well, it is a bit more, but you only have to add really tiny amounts.
And any way, its only like $12 or so more.
