I recently posted that I didn't mind doing my liquid ph tests, well I can see that things are ramping up and I'm sick of it already. I know this obviously is a cheapy, but for a starter is it OK?
What triggered this, is I went to the Big City to the hydro shop, bought some ph up, the small shop's own label on it, I think he sold me tap water, I think my well water is harder than this stuff. My EJ nutes bring my well water ph from well over 9 down to below 5, this stuff took 3 tablespoons/gallon to bring it back up to 6.2, is this normal for ph up?

Thanks, if I ever try anything like this again, feel free to slap me upside the head. At my age, I should know you get what you pay for. I think I might spend the big bucks and get the Blue Labs multimeter Mr Burns recommended, you can just buy the ph portion, and add the ec and tdh later. My first crop is gonna end up being the most expensive pot I ever smoked in my life, but I understand marginal costs I think they called them in Economics.
