![]() | indicapro: I use aero, so I keep the ppms low. I also use ro water, but recently have switched to back to tap becuase of the change in ppm. During the winter my ro water is 7, but recently the ro has been around 6.2 due to change in tap water (for farming) and heavy rains. tap is right at 8. The conny is awsome in conjunction with ro water around 7 because the proper mix wil give you the exact ppm and ph as listed on the label. The first run (ro water) 40 gal rez change nutes every 2 weeks cal mag 50 ppm before adding nutes (only with ro) week 1 - bud blood 20g (one pack) - conny 200 ml of a&b week 2-5 conny 250 ml a&b big bud 200 ml b-52 100 ml silicate 12ml week 6-8 conny 200 ml overdrive 200 ml silicate 12 ml This is what I followed. I had a drastic change in my ro water around week 3 (from 7 to 6.2) this caused the buffers in the conny to drive the ph down to 5-5.2, so I had to up the solution. Then I switched to hard water, stopped using the cal mag. soluiton stabalized. Next time I will only use the conny a&b. Thats it. It is similar to DM gold because it is a standalone product. The reason I prefer conny to dm gold is because you get the precise ppm and ph (when using ro water @ 7) never had to down it until I used hardwater. DM is not a bad product, I just like AN better. Personal preference. hope that helps. The absolute best part of the conny is that if you are not happy with it, take it back. Your local store or online supplier has to return it. AN guarentees it.

And it's damn hard to beat a money back guarantee. Interesting, though, that you don't really hear about people ever asking for their money back, eh?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | AN flat out kicks ass. hell you can call them and they will give you tips on growing your shit! they have there own forum to answer all there questions. the urban grower promotes the sensi pro boxed nutes as being the 2lbs per light stuff. anyhow i find you dont need all the additional stuff. just 3 part and some sort of bloom booster is nice. but they have every little thing you could need or want to get your setup perfectly dialed in. start small, add sups one at a time until you find that perfect balance ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | there forums are gone? no shit... well they were there a year ago! lol i use AN, but i quit growing to do.. ayhem. legal concerns. from my experience i prefer the an over GH, but i still use kool bloom from gh and liquid karma from botanicare i think it is. to this day i use liquid karma on anything with roots and it works great. there are always trends that people will follow, and good results can be had with just about anything. just do your homework be patient and be meticulous. why did AN forum go away? that makes me sad ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | IIRC the forum got shut down because there was a big legal problem with giving advice for growing MJ without verifying that the person you're advising is licensed to grow it, or something like that. It just wasn't possible to keep the forum open without it blowing up in their faces, so they just shut it down. I could be wrong on that, but that's what I remember. "30 percent of their product line is molasses" - 100% of that statement is hilarious. Molasses + hydroponics = nightmarish fungus/mold/slime growth. 9 times out of 10 if you dump molasses in a reservoir you end up with a res full of crud. I think we'd have heard about that by now if AN's stuff was packed full of molasses, don't you agree? Oh, and people do use AN on other stuff. There's examples on this very forum. http://www.gardenscure.com/420/flowe...-contrary.html
