![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i can tell you AN nutes taste NOTHING like molasses. maybe there organic shit, but hey black strap is a good plant food so why the fuck not. AN is not really that expensive, i think i paid 34 bucks for 3 bottle of crap and a couple more dollars for some liquid karma that is botanicare or whatever. worked great, great results. ive used gh and an. the gh sucked the an ruled. ph was consistant and exactly where i needed it when used with ro water like the recomend. sure they are on weeds, and sure they have some douche bag makin vids on youtube. but they are a business, dont hate on them for being successful and advertising there product. hell youtube is free advertising. be glad your not paying for it!

i dont mind them advertising. its just i live in a place where cannabis is illegal to grow, and anything that draws attention isnt good. i dont hate them, i just think theyre 30 product line is overpriced, and way to similar. i mean, i couldnt even imagine giving my plant 15 different things. its not needed. they should keep about 6 of their products, because the rest are ripping people off. sweet leaf? wet betty? come on.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Have you tried sweet leaf? Stuff is great! Peace Bud blood is a fine product as well. You should not knock the stuff until you've tried it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | thats why i say nothing bad about other companies. ive tried plenty. all i got was the same thing that could be done using 10 less bottles, and saveing 80 dollars. ive had much better tastes from molases and guano, than any sweet leaf. side by side, AN SUCKS

well i know someone who swears by wet betty and recomends sweet during the flush. it may be overpriced and alot of it is totally unnecessary. but eh, people want a system engineered to work together. nature is a complex thing and to think you can get everything nature has to offer in one bottle is absurd. the guy that gave me nute and "extras" info was a big time grower, and college grad for botany or whatever the plant sciences are called. he grew some killer weed! and was nice enough to gimme some brownies to get me through my build. i was ripped too! first time i ever got anything from eating brownies. lol anyhow. sure AN is a shit ton of money, and they might be taxing people. and yes weed illegal in alot of places... but does it matter? anyone that sees you walking out of a hydro store will automatically assume you are growin pot anyways. if it gets to the point they are looking at the labels on your bottle, its already too late.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I would not use Sweet (made by botanicare) during the flush. I totally agree that Guano is better than anything else for taste/aroma. I however in hyrdo will not put guano in my system. It makes a hell of a mess. So there I turn to AN supplements, that in MY OPINION work great. For myself there are plants in a soil I make myself all "organically", which I like the best. Hydro and AN give me a product that I would put up against any other grower. Just my 2 cents. Peace

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, they are expensive... I'm a pretty firm believe in the " you get what you pay for " idea but thats not always true. They probably work great. I would have to say "easier to use" rather than "better than anything else" though...going on what i've seen and heard about them.... An experienced grower should be able to get similar results with any product... I mean lets face it. Most of these nutrients were designed with cannabis growing in mind anyway. I dont use AN and probably never will though, because of one reason. They're specifically designed for cannabis, plainly written on the bottle... and buying them is essentially admitting your growing weed. I even had a direct hookup I could have gotten sweet deals on AN products direct from the company. NO THANKS!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i grow in dirt that has plenty of bat poop in it but a little more could never hurt. ive never used sweet, i just assumed it was AN. but they sold both an and botanicare. so it makes sense.as far as not using sweet during the flush, i dont know why youd avoid it. many people use molasses during flush, or the first week at least. and sweet is mainly molasses {read the label, first ingriedent is cane sugar} cane sugar is just sugar that hasnt had the molasses cleaned off it yet. of course there are probably a couple other things in there. but from what i can tell sweet is no worse to use than molasses during flush. i do want to try final phase one time just to see if it makes a difference. there are those who swear by it. i agree a pro will get good results with anything. but being a newb i found AN easier to use and better documented than GH stuff, though i did use gh's kool bloom which worked great and made a helluva difference. no one can prove you are growing weed based on what nute you buy. worrying about that is ridiculous. you are in a hydro store you will be labeled as a pot grower. its pretty simple really. no one is going to spend the money we do to grow 2 dollars worth of tomatoes Last edited by kawgomoo : 08-29-2008 at 08:25 PM.

![]() ![]() | I don't get the people who are like "I wont buy X because then people will think I'm growing pot". Dude, if the cops are looking at what youre buying it's already too late to play innocent. Its not like they got some magic eye in the sky that tells them everyone that buys AN or something. Must be thousands of people buying stuff like that every day that don't get busted just because they bought it. If the cops are sniffing around enough to be reading the label on your bottles they're gonna bust you whether it's GH, AN, or MG because they didn't get that close by accident. They already have an idea what youre up to or they wouldn't be watching you to begin with. All you gotta do is be discrete man. It aint rocket science.
