I have read throughout this forum thata PBP bloom is not a complete fertilizer. I am currently running one mother in a 3 gallon hempy using the GH 3part at 3-6-10 tbsp per gallon of unPH'ed water. Mom seems to be taking the heavy doses wonderfully. PH/PPM meter are on there way and should be delievered this week.

is this a ok one?

What other completely organic fert would I need to fully supply mom with all her food?

I just used Pure blend Pro in one of my hempy buckets and the grow went fine. Buds were the same size as with Fox Farms and GH. No deficiencies either. I think once or twice I did add some Black Strap Molasses to the mix, oh, and maybe a little Purple Max.

pure blend pro is a complete one part nutrient program. your mom would be fine on a 1:2 GH micro/bloom lucas formula regimen. nothing else is needed

i quit using grow and plant turned light green overnight. Changed my res and renuted using the 3-6-10. SHe perked back up in two feedings for her to pickup. I read that the grow creates a weird taste to the bud, and ive been wanting to try organics sooo i figured why the heck not.

but during veg with this mystery strian (was said to be blackberry and it sure as hell smells like it on the stalk) i will always include grow in veg.

I am not sure what this thread has to do with PBP? You're talking about using GH, and asking about getting a meter of some kind? Your link is not valid. Do you have make & model info?

The question retaining the PBP bloom was what other organic substances would it need (if any) to provide substantial elements to my mom during flower. Currently as of yesterday, mom looks gorgeous just a slight hint of yellow on on or two big sets of lower fan leaves.

Today i received my PBP bloom, Clearex, and Tester so mom is going to undergo a major uprooting and transplant procedure today.

i cant seem to find the thread but i knew i should have saved it. Atleast two poeple talked about it in a hydro grow thread and i found it intresting.

Any other additives, like purple maxx or gravity, are there to be considered w the bloom or the mollases?

looks like a cheap knockoff of this meter Tri-Meter pH/TDS/Temp Nutradip Trimeter - Hydroponics - eBay (item 260244220407 end time Jun-24-08 10:14:59 PDT) nutradip is a quality meter. the one you linked seems too cheap to last

additives are not something i give to my mother plants. they grow fast enough as it is. only thing i might use would be some kind of silica suppliment. Technically speaking you want PBP grow for vegging moms..

keep in mind they also make soil and hydro versions of PBP bloom. make sure you've got the right one.

if your really itching to spend $ on growth enhancers try Bio-Genesis Synergy... way better stuff than liquid karma.

Ok guess I can't figure out what is being asked. First General Hydroponics makes the 3 part nutrient you have spoke of. Second Bontanicare makes Pure Blend pro. Two diff companies. What you have likely heard is that when using Botanicare PBP you will need to use Cal/MAg as well. This in my opinion is true. I think that PBP was not made with enough Cal/MAg. I always recommend 5-10 Ml Cal/Mag with ANY nutrient brand. MJ uses a lot, mostly in the flowering phase. If you are trying to maintain a mother plant don't concern yourself with all the things people concern themselves with when flowering a MJ plant. Veg is easy. You can use PBP grow or GH three part. You need nothing else. Silicia will help strenghten the cell walls of your plant, therefore making it more resistiant to stresses caused by heat, bugs, or other hardships. This is good to give your plants at all times, but not too much in flower because it makes flowers rubbery if given in excess. Hope this helps, and welcome to the board!

You can also use the Grow part of a Grow/Bloom set to grow your vegging moms.

If you use the whole thing for your other plant you'll need to plan ahead since you'll go through Grow faster, but that's easy enough.
