I hadn't thought of that Stone, you're right. The microbials do improve the efficiency of nutrients. I was thinking of using just teh microbials without nutes, like with new seedlings or something, to get the colonies started in the plants root systems and so on.

If you're combining them with nutes you'll probably want to be a little extra cautious if you're not familiar with them. I always tend to go a bit light with my microbials just because like you say I think that lighter more frequent doses work best.
