ok well i never have given my plants any nutes except foir this one time i bought some supposed organic fertz and it gave my plants a little burn, which was probably my own fault. but my question is, can i use fish emulsion for a fert. i know many people use it on these boards but is it ok to solely just use that, and what dosage should i go with. its the only organic stuff around. I just put my babies into flower about 2 days ago. thanks | ||

 | What are your NPK percentages? My hydro guy gave me a gallon of Safers fish emulsion to try for $10, it's 4-1-4, so if it's similar, you will probably need to supplement Phosphorous somehow.

| yes you can use it. the alaska fish emulsion is organic, but its still possible to burn plants with it, Ive done it too. yea, wich one to you have? I know of a 5-1-1 and a 0-10-10. each has its purpose, the 0-10-10 is what you want to flower with. mixing a little blood meal with that would boost nitrogen, you want some in flower, especially during the first few weeks. or you could mix a % of the 5-1-1 with it. maybe outdoors will stop by your thread. she uses emulsions in her gardens and gets awesome results with it.

| id take my alaskan fish fertilizer from wall mart over advandced nutrients anyday. its great for vegative growth, the 5-1-1 stuff. i never used the other for flowering though.
