What day are your sativas at? The BM is a great control product for tight spaces and unexpected height or width.

The girls are in their 6 week, about 47 days. I have weekley rotation of 10 plants, but when the sativas go through they take and extra 4 weeks or so....just depends on how patient I am.

Mind if I join the experiment this ROCKS !!

This thread is right on time I was trying to figure out how I was going to deal with the Sativa stretch with my limited Height (5.5ft). Sounds Like I can let them grow up to 3 ft apx ? and then manage the "follow on" stretch that could be 8in to a foot ?. I do have a total of 5.5 ft of height from the bottom of my light (air cooled) to the top of my 5 gallon buckets.
If you don't mind Pics and details I can throw them in here or bump them to a new thread but I could use some hand holding it's my first grow.

My Details:
10 x 100% Sativas under 400w Metal Halide facing a big stretch.
3 days into 4th week. (three more lagging a week behind)

600w HPS for Flower and a 400w HPS as a back up if they don't get enough light.

Cab divided into a Veg and Flower chamber. I prep the seedlings on a seedling table under a T 4 florescent Light. Each chamber in the Cab is 4 ft wide 4.5 ft deep 7 ft height. With a true head room of 5.5ft of useable height.

Organic Soil Grow : Fox Farm Ocean Forrest, Worm Castings , 30% Perlite, Mixed In blood meal, bone meal, bat guano (mex, jam), lime, marine cuisine, kelp. Then I use organic nutes to feed. BecuzZ Root, Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bloom , Yet to use Tiger Bloom , Open Sesame, Beastie Blooms and ChaChing. (sounds like some of these overlap with below)

Have not used these yet:
I do have the Humbolt County Line of BushMaster and PurpleMax and Gravity as well as

Bushmaster could result in unmanagable buds that you have to support. This is very time consuming when you could be inside smoking. If your buds were smaller you wouldnt have to worry about wind storms and wide mouth jars. For me Bushmaster just made the plant bigger and fatter, which is not what I wanted but thanks to Bushmaster I still worried about helicopters. This year I have discontinued my use of Bushmaster and have been rewarded with much less outdoor pot.

Is this an indoor discussion? Or just a feedback on Bushmaster?

All info accepted and appreciated, pics especially, they count a 1000 words a piece remember!

vonrasta, I would say six inches max after dosing with my numbers. I believe it's plant specific and amount specific. A plant might not burn at 1.5 tea per gal but it stops dead in it's tracks. The same strain given .5 tea per gal might only reduce the stretching 10-20% or it might not even affect it at all. All strains will be different as will the amounts given and the duration depending on the method in which the plants are grown. Play around with it.

I'm now liking the idea of waiting til I've achieved the max height I'm looking for then stopping them dead in their tracks. Allows for larger longer colas and a plant structure that still resembles the natural way it grows just a little tighter. Even though i'm lovin my christmas tree farm!

CRAZY them nugs is crazy! Did Gravity visit all of these also? I bet you could break somethin with one of them damn things. "CRAZY, oh CRAZY, now honey no throwing nugglets near the house you might break a window!"

swordfish, doors are open for all! Interesting info, frick nickin gnarly pic dude! Thanks for stoppin in!

I'll take lots of pics, before and after etc and I can't wait !! Glad you did the experiment or rather that I found this thread, hooks me up big time.

I'll log all the feedings once I get to the desired height. I will definatly need some pruning help once I get that far and will just ask for that based on pics once i get there.

I'm digging those Floros on the bottom I have some half size like that, very reasonably priced. Have you cked to see if UVB lights fit in those fixtures to ? I will pick some up if so. Those are $$ for wall mounting, floor mounting, etc. Awesome.

Also in flower what floros do you use ?

DR D... yeah, they all got the Bush, a bit to soon I think. I don't know if one of my lights is going bad or what, but some of the skunks are getting a blue hugh to them that is just amazing. First time I used the bush on the skunks
