Mary Jane Using GH 3prt for soil, aero, and hydro

I've around the block a little bit with cultivation. In the past, I used GH 3 part nutes for soil, aero and hydro! It seemed to work out okay, but I was wondering if anyone has any nute advice for me. I will still be using soil and aero/hydro. Should I buy different nutes for the soil, or should/can I stick with the GH 3prt for both? If needs change, what do you recommend?

i prefered AN 3 part over the gh. but either should work well for any of the 3 systems.

yes advanced nutrients. they were actually recomended to me by someone that worked for botanicare. lol go figure.

i used them in soil and ebb n flood. worked great in both systems. just used the schedule on there website/back of the bottle. the ph buffers seemed ideal for using them in hydro, in dirt i had to ph up a bit to get it right where i wanted it.

my regimin of nutes was
AN 3 part - used as per bottle all the way through
Botanicare Liquid Karma- used as per bottle all the way through
GH Kool BLoom {dry} - used as per package from 4 weeks flowering. should have started it earlier.

only word of wisdom i was given is always mix the micro first, then the bloom then grow.

I don't doubt it bro, just cause they work at botanicare doesn't mean they don't recognize quality when they see it. I used that and I used AN and it wouldn't matter who signed my checks, I'd still recommend Advanced Nutrients.

Hell, I talked with a guy at a show that works for AN that used to work for GH but quit so he could work somewhere he actually believe in.

mistaman is starting to vegetate.

heres a regime i tried that worked good with the 3part

floraseries 3 part
liquid karma
superthrive during veg early flowering
purple maxx during flowering including a foliar spray 3 weeks before finishing so it turns purple (mine did) i try to use alot of this stuff love the results
botanicare sweet
i also used a low dose of gravity for a larger yield

if u dont wanna buy all those bottles you could go with kawgoomoo's AN regime. definetely looks interesting to try their 3 part. but i would recommend purple maxx and liquid karma for any regime.

I'd stay away from the Superthrive anywhere near flowering. It's known to seriously delay and prolong flowering.

ya i saw a thread about this. i should have been more specific i meant during early 12/12 during stretch. for some reason in my mind flowering time starts when i flip the switch.

i didnt notice much of a different but my friend who used it most of the flowering cycle seemed about a week or so behind normal indoors of that variety. he also stressed his plants in a couple ways.
ill try cutting it out earlier maybe ill finish a few days sooner thx

slantedsidewaze---No changes needed with using the GH nutes.

I'd suggest getting the liquid and dry kool bloom for best resullts with those. IMHO

Check out my journal and you can see those nutes on soil, and just used Gravity on them too, plus using the purple maxx.

Here's one of the last posts with pictures of them.

AN is a great product too, but for the money, you are fine sticking with what you are familiar with, and would expect better results with what you are used to already.

Happy Growing
