Watering frequency/strenghth
permalink

Hi folks, I'm a medical grower in B.C. (Canada) and am fairly new to the indoor world of gardening. I am growing Purple Kush this time, 25 plants under 6-600 watt digi HPS in cool tubes. I'm runing CO2 @ 1200 PPM and using Advanced Nutes 2+ this time. I'm also using 3 gallon pots as opposed to the 5 gallon I usually use and sunshine#4. I'm curious about watering though, I am in week 6 of flower and watering 250-300ml's of 800 PPM every other day. These kush MOFO'S are sensitive as hell so I'm worried about over doing it. Should I just give one water til runoff once a week or continue this way with so so results? This is what happened this week on my fan leaves on half dozen or so after I changed the NPK ratio to 1:2:3. Not sure if it's burn or deficciency....any input?

Cheers

Hiya VeinPost

Try this area for nursing plants back to health.

That said, that looks like NUTE BURN to me big time. Feeding plants that are in dirt every other day, when i used to grow in dirt, was a big no no. Other here are more up to date than me in dirt growing, but that looks to me like a bad toxicity problem that could well be a combo of too many nutes and poor PH.

There is a questionaire for you to fill out in the nursery section that asks you to provide alot of info so people here can start to help you. It asks for thigks like PH, feeding shegds, avg room temps for lights on and lights off etc. Start with that and get us more info before you try to do anything drastic. I am betting the first thing you will need to do is flush with PH balanced RO water, but again, do the questionaire first and get some input of the guys that are dirt freaks on here to chime in and I bet you will be well on your way to recovery in no time.

Cheers
