Mary Jane Molasses question.
permalink

I have two plants about four weeks into 12/12. I want to start giving them some molasses. When do you start? I think I'll start flushing in 3-4 more weeks. How much per gallon? and Should I stop with other nutes when I start the molasses? Thanks for any help you can give.

Teaspoon per gallon should be good, in addition to your reg nutes, yes, I'd start now.

I loved my molasses in Hempy, Never had a problem. It's the one thing I miss in hydro, just not comfortable putting it in a res, be interested to see if anyone does.

I as well have used molasses in a Hempy with great success. (edit) I was using Pure Blend Pro.

oh man it was nasty....but i was using PBP at the time. if you use chemical nutes it may be no issue.

uck..the slime. brown slime. it looks like this nasty shit mud worms secrete {mucus?}. i grew up on the water so maybe im the only one used to seeing these things...so gross

after about a week of using molasses i noticed the most wretched smell and started looking around. the dribble dishes were full of this nasty brown funk...oh its disgusting, my shop vac will forever smell like crap now.

It seems to me that putting molasses in your reservoir (which indicates hydroponics to me) is a sure-fire way to clog up your shit (nozzles, pumps, lines, etc). That is some gooey stuff.
