Will B1 (Thiamine) or Rooting Hormone (Indole Butyric Acid) Generate Branch Growth
permalink

I'm wondering, What will happen if I apply B1 (Thiamine) or rooting hormone (Indole butyric acid) to a light exposed, horizontally trained cannabis trunk? Will that encourage sprout growth on a clone mother?

I read the following that seems encouraging:

"Indole-3-butyric acid is a substance that is closely related in structure and function to a natural growth regulator found in plants. Indole-3-butyric acid is used on many crops and ornamentals to promote growth and development of roots, flowers and fruits, and to increase crop yields. Growers find it more effective and efficient than its natural counterpart because plants cannot break it down as quickly. No harm to humans or the environment is expected to result from use of indole-3-butyric acid."

Thank you thread viewers.

I'll try it if I get a chance. First, I believe, I'll start with a liquid B1. I'll put it in a spray bottle then spray the top of my horizontally trained plant. If I see anything that I could call increased sprouting, I'll post it here.

I hope that I can do it, coda0796. It did seem to me that the question at least piqued some interest.

We'll see. Got to find some of that there B1.
