Liquid Budswel question
permalink

So I have a basic hydro set up going. Instead of buying everything seperate, I got "the recipe for success," and it came with pretty much everything I need....

However, I do have one question. What would I substitute, if anything, if I wanted to throw some liquid budswel into the mix? and what part of the flowering should I add it?

I am a nutrient newb. I built the whole setup myself, did all the stuff with lighting/ballast etc myself, but I am extremely lacking in the department of nutrients.

any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure that Budswel is good for hydro. It may muck your stuff up (pumps, nozzles, etc). I could be completely wrong.

okay i was at the store about to buy advanced nutrients and the guy said "you should try this, it's pretty good. I think you'll have a lot of luck with it." so I bought it.

It's made by Technaflora. it comes with what they call:
BC grow 1-3-6
bc boost 3-0-2
bc bloom 1-4-7
thrive alive b1 1-1-1
magic cal (calcium) 2-0-0
awesome blossom 2-11-11
sugar daddy 0-0-0 (for seedlings)
root 66 1-1-1

all this comes with a paper with a list of how and when to use each nutrient.

I've never heard of any of these, but they're probably as good as anything else out there. You've got that awesome blossom, so probably no need for the Budswell.

Yeah you're probably right. I asked the guy at the hydro store because i wasn't getting many responses, and he even turned down an option to sell me more stuff, saying i should just follow the guide that came with this kit exactly, because the awesome blossom will produce awesome blossoms.

The recipe for success is the Techniflora line. They work fine. To use the budswell in

hydro introduce it to the plants in the 6th week of flower. Just back everything else off to

half at first to make sure you don't burn them. You can also run it solo the week

before flush and the flavor and smell of the herb will benefit.

I'd have stuck to my guns and bought the Advance Nutrients.

I won't refuse to listen to a saleman, but I've worked enough places to know that what they're told to push doesn't usually have much to do with what is the best thing to buy.

Me and my would stick to the AN shelf, but that's me.
