CO2 supplement
permalink

Hi, I read on grasscity.com that paintball co2 canisters are good co2 supplements. Does anyone else do thing? and Is it possible to give your plants to much co2?

no offense, but the whole CO2 thing again? not you bro, but its common that a new grower wants to maxamize their grows output before they even have a clue as to what the fuk they are doing. Constantly adding whatever mainstream says they "need" to produce loads of buds....

Lets get to the point, are you at or over 9000 lumens per sqft? If not, forget about CO2
Can your grow room maintain a constant temperature without constant ventilation? if not, forget about CO2
Have you already had 2 good grows with this strain to know how it should produce? if not, forget about co2
Can you control RH down to the within 5% of your goal? if not, ya you know, forget co2

Sorry bro, but if 1 of the above is not met you'll waste your money on CO2. Might as well spend that money on a bag of street weed, then add its weight to your final yield. IMO, you'd get better #'s that way, then if you added co2 to a grow room not prepared for it...

I believe paintball canisters are filled with liquid co2 not gas. You need to do a search.Theres a formula you need in order to know how much c02 you need to use.And then you need a regulator or meter. According to a book I read published in 06 supplemental c02 at 1000pm will increase your yield 25%. At 1500 ppm another 25%. Anything over that can damage your plants. This is from a cultivation book I have read by Mel Thomas. I have never done it. Just regurgitating info, GL
