I have been somewhat confused on this subject for some time now. Usually I just go straight to the bloom "recipe" and don't bother with a transition period. Worked for me so far. Thing is, what works isn't always best. So what I am wondering is what is the proper GH transition recipe? I usually goto about 12ml B, 6ml M, 3ml G when I switch my lights to 12/12. Is that ok? Should I maybe give a bit more "G" for a bit longer? So.... what ratios do you use for the transition period??? THX!!!

I dont usually give nutes with every watering. I alternate water, feeding, water, feeding, and when i do my switch to flowering, i do a flush, and then after 3-5 days start with my flowering nutes

For the first two weeks of 12/12 I used 5 ml each of g-m-b.

I continue to use veg nutes threw the 1st 2 weeks of flower and then kick off with flower nutes starting at 1/2 strength.
If i start flower nutes too early my plants start dropping there leaves at week 4 or 5 but with the extra N stored up they look good an green right up to week 7 and then start to drop there leaves.

if plants seem a bit burnt, then its 4-4-4...or 3-3-3

Thanks for the replys. I have another question, and I will be a lil more specific with my grow that I am gonna be applying this knowledge to. I am doing 1 WW in a Hugo Block, 10-15 gal recirculating. I am gonna start it off budding under a 400, but might switch to my 1000 if needed. Also gonna do some serious tieing down(LST?), which i will start doing tonight before it goes into its "stretch".

The questions
Should I be adding any Koolbloom the first 2 weeks? I usually don't for the first 2 weeks.

I was vegging the plant with 12ml G, 6ml M, 3ml B. With 4ml Cal/Mag. I am gonna switch it to 12/12 tonight, if I was gonna use the 5-5-5 schedule, should it be switched directly tonight? Thx for the replys.

Alright, last night I switched the lights to 12/12 and the res to the 5-5-5 schedule and did some tieing down . I am still wondering if I should use any Liquid KB during the first 2 weeks... what ya think? Also I had another question to throw out there. I have the GH flora series, Liquid and Dry KB for this grow. I am heading to the hydro store tonight, what to you recommend I pick up to throw in the res for this first 2 week transition period? Anything else ya recommend I pick up to add to this grow? Thx for the input people, I appriciate it!!!

Dude. It's simple. Use search or just go to GENERAL HYDROPONICS and they'll tell you their recommended feedings for the flora series. In the schedule, it shows how much of the additives to add for each period of the grow. They have run to waste and recirculating feeding formula's.
