Last week of flower is a little late IMO. Rate should be 1 to 1.5 tablespoons per gallon

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | be careful adding molasses to a hydro setup. everytime i have really bad things have happened. and yes, it will feed/grow bacteria like no other!!!! so warm water and molasses = death. the idea is to keep the root zone inhabitated by good bacteria. if there is little or no bacteria present then it leaves the door wide open for something bad to take hold. like pythium. pythium is always present...just waiting. When the conditions are right it strikes! and takes hold of your plants root zone. i cant say what it does...but the soil plants never seem to complain when i give it to them. and they look as healthy now as they ever have so im saying two thumbs up for the black goo..... oh yeah. use black strap. grandma's is lite molasses or something. though they are all better t han nothing...blackstrap is the goodstuff.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Conditions for pythium to set in are high temps and low oxygen levels at the root zone...that being said the best defense is a healthy plant....and cold water if you are running hydro. theres a decent article in this months maximum yield on pythium i think...but 99.7% of that rag is advertising and advertisers shwag being hyped, so take it for what its worth.

The B.S. the current administration has gotten involved in IS very unconstitutional [and morally wrong]... as one American, I'm totally sick of it. Post away... Nelson ![]()

It is nice to have someone open to such thoughts about our Gov. How ever politics are not herb and if I want to rant or debate about politics, I can do so else were. Politics can cause issues among others and I dont want any issues here. I may not be able to live up to that all the time...but I try. I value fenz and the assistance I can get and hopefully give to others. Thats why I am here. Not to share how my views are probably different than most here. I do agree with you on the rest though. Its nice not to feel so alone on such thoughts. \ooo/

Since were kind of spinning off in another direction, I'll try to bring it back to molasses. ha ha ha ha Quick question, or idea. I tried a search for this and found nothing so here is my question: Adding Molasses to your soil mix good idea? ie. your making a batch of soil, you mix in the blood meal, bone meal, kelp, guano, blah blah blah could you mix in molasses with the soil? Would this do any good? Thanks Youngbuck
