Pur Vida/Fox Farms Nutrients - Anyone?
permalink

Greetings Growers!

I am getting ready to start some veg babies and I am switching up my nutrient formula. I had previously used Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro Grow/Bloom formulas supplementing with Coco Cat and Liquid Karma (LK every other week).

I have purchased a new fertilizer called Pure Vida Organic Grow Nutrient, I copied this from website:

Pure Vida Organic Grow NutrientTechnaflora Plant Products Ltd. has made a revolutionary break though in developing two extraordinary OMRI™ certified organic hydroponic nutrients that produce results, Pura Vida Organics™ Grow (6-4-3) and Pura Vida Organics™ Bloom(2-6-6).

Pura Vida Organics™ Grow & Bloom, are unique organic fertilizers that provide plants with both a balanced and available nutrient supply in a pure natural form suitable for use in hydroponic, soil, and soilless based gardening mediums without the fear of irrigation line clogging and without the nasty smells associated with other organic brands.

Formulated from various plant materials and subjected to a fermentation process, Pura Vida Organics™ Grow and Pura Vida Organics™ Bloom contain sufficient organic nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), along with essential micro nutrients to sustain rapid, aggressive growth during the vegetative stage and to produce abundant fragrant flowers and mature fruits during the flowering/fruiting stages.

Pura Vida Organics™ Grow specifically targets the vegetative growth phase rapidly creating lush green foliage, while Pura Vida Organics™ Bloom is formulated to promote and maximize the flowering and fruiting performance of plants during the reproductive stage.

Powerful on their own, Pura Vida Organics™ Grow and Bloom are ideal as a ONE-PART fertilizer for general use. When combined, Pura Vida Organics™ Grow and Bloom create an aggressive TWO-PART formulation suitable for high demand crop production systems.

Manufacturer: Technaflora

In addition I was thinking about trying Fox Farms Open sesame, Cha Ching and Beastly Budz products.

So my question is this:

Can you use all of these at once, or is it just the Beastly budz and no Pur Vida... I dont want to overkill these guys, but the FF products have me interested...

Also has anyone used Pur Vida before?

Thanks!

they are plant suplements.

yes you will still use your base feeding.(bloom nutrients)

they are designed to be used along with your base nutrients. im not sure wich is wich, but one is for early flowering, ones for mid flowering, and one is for late flowering.

Hydroponics Plant Food
permalink

illegal-seed has it right, they're just supplemental plant food that can be used in hydroponics. I've never really had that great an experience with Technaflora so I don't use it anymore.

Instead, the plant food I recommend for hydroponics is the Advanced Nutrients line-up. Their catalog can be confusing at first but you don't need the whole thing. You just pick one of their base nutrients (they're all good, I like the Sensi 2-part myself) and a few additives and go from there. Add or substitute as you see fit and work out what works best for you. Don't overlook Big Bud, that's the best thing they make.

The food you give your plants is important no matter how you grow, but it's doubly important in hydroponics. Give your plants the best and they give you the best.
