well im growing a couple plants in my backyard and im not doing nothing special to them except watering them everyday there only about a month old. so i was just wondering what nutrient could i use too maybe make my plants produce some better bud. i ask this because the seeds i used were from really crappy weed and i want it to come out better than the original bud the seed came from.

Nutrients provide nutrients to the plant. Nothing more... They can't change the plants dna and make it more potent. Whoever told you nutrients make your pot more potent needs slapped 3 times. lol

Watering everyday isn't needed as well. Think of a cactus plant. They LOVE being dry. Well, pot doesn't like being as dry, but it HATES being constantly wet. Let that thing dry out till you see leaves drooping. water it and then you will see them perk back up in hours. Thats a good way to tell when a plant could use water.

Be carefull what you use, as outside animals can be atracted easily. And then by by pot plants. I personally love bat guano, worm castings, compost, kelp meal for my nutrients. Covers everything you need, organic, shouldn't atract pests.

I just use cheap wal-mart nutes on my outdoor plants. Nothing fantastic.
As for making your weed more potent, let it mature long enough (have patience), dry it and cure it properly, and it'll be 10x better than the weed it came from.
Good luck on the grow!

Hello lildevilpunk

You have started a lot of posts here asking basic questions.

Might I suggest a little reading first? I would like to point you towards The Cannabis Cultivation GrowFAQ - The Internet Hub for Marijuana Cultivation

I'm not trying to discourage you from asking questions - we are here to answer any and all. I am just trying to help you. I read the growfaq from front to back 3x. It helped me sooo much!! It might answer some basic questions you have right away instead of waiting for someone to post

happy reading

I believe Alaska fish emulsion is 5-1-1.Genetics are the number 1 way of growing great MJ.You cant grow a pig with a sows ear!Buy some good seeds at one of the many seed banks and give yourself a good chance of ending up with dank buds worthy of 4-5 months growing.
