Good Morning Finally found a hydro store here in Canada that imports FF products....taking the 4 hour drive to Toronto tomorrow. I am growing in soil, outdoors From what I have read by other members, most seem to stick with the Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. It also seems that a lot of folks don't bother with the tiger bloom, should i not worry about using it? Should I consider any other Fox Farm nutes? They are not cheap here so I really only want to pick up those that most members have used and might recommend. Do most of you follow their specified feeding schedule with respect to measuring and watering? Do you stop all nutes the last few weeks before harvest? What about the additives such as Cha Ching, Open Sesame and Beastie Bloomz....should I consider using these supplements as well, or are they kind of a waste of $$. Since these are supposed to be organic, has anyone had any issues with taste of the bud being affected by the nutes? Last question, do most of you foliar feed or just mix it and water nto soil? Thanks for any feedback ASAP....can't wait to feed my girls with these highly recommended fertilizers ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i would start with the main three, grow big, tiger bloom and big bloom, wait to get the additives when your more experienced.... i use the fox farm schedule for hydro, i did use the soul schedule when i did soil...... experiment with the bigbloom. i encourage any type of experimenting with stuff as long as it doesnt mame the plant...... use it in most of the plants are not in one or two of them.... i stop all nutes a week to a week and a half before harvest...i also flush with clearex, someone told me a cheap alt was h202(hydrogehperoxide) and water.. the nutes can leave a unpleasent taste is not leached from the soil..... so even if you run plain water your still flushing the salt buildup and nutes out of the container and plants..... congrats on the soil, i know i was stoked to see the amount of growth and the fact that i dont have to put any nutes in the soil for the first couple of weeks... my god bud momma hasnt seen any outside nutes, its all the soil and water in that container........PEACE..

I am an experienced out door grower, but not in pots, in the ground...so I never found the need to flush....do you really think it is a requirement to flush plants in the ground? typically I just stop feeding 2 weeks before and let the plant feed of itself....maybe I should try flushing? ![]() Don't worry, I agree 100% not to nute all the girls they same way...always experimenting, always learning... Have you tried any of the other 3 additives though? Thanks ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My sentiments exactly, but perhaps this year in the realm of experimentation I will flush and not flush a few of the same variety...see if i notice any difference in the taste and smokability...

Thanks for the input folks....picked up my nutes and gave first feeding yesterday. Fed by 5 gallon pail of water and added nutes and then watered the girls...results were good this am. Just wondering have any of you foliar fed FF nutes in an outdoor grow? If you have, did you feed just in veg, or into flower as well. In Canada these nutes are very expensive, watering into the ground is going to use up my supply fast....and thinking that foliar feeding will be more efficient....and get the nutes put in use quicker... thoughts? Thanks...
