Flushing the medium simply means getting rid of nutrient salts or nutrients.

We flush at harvest for better tastes...We flush when we burn plants to get rid of nutrients.

All you really do is dump a lot of water through the soil. Some say use twice the amount of soil, some say 3 times the amount. Just use a lot.

Use twice as much water as soil. So if you have a 5 gallon pot, dump 10 plus gallons of water through it.

Flushing shouldnt need to be done unless youve over fed or are getting ready for harvest. You dont want to water everyday. Not at all. Let it dry out as normal. Most people preffer flushing the last 2 weeks of flowering.

Well of course dont dump it in 10 seconds. Dump some, let it drain...Dump some...Drain...

Its ok to flood the soil a bit. Wont hurt nothing. Id suggest bringing a bong along as it can take a while to water and wait. lol
