OK,fcor the past 4 years I have been using Fox Farms nutes - Grow Big, Big Bloom, & Tiger Bloom. I also grow in their Ocean Forest soil. I started using FF because I was burning / killing my plants and several people on Overgrow (RIP) recommended I try them. While I have been happy with the results, I am always open to new ideas that will help me grow the best medicine since I can't move without it. The owner of the local grow store has been talking to me about humboldt Nutreients. He has told me that I would be totally impressed with their line, that they are trying to compete against Advanced "Nutes - basically that it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.I have read everything he gave me, with to their web site & read everything there. Based on everything I read there I think that I would need about 9 different products: Grow Natural, Bloom Natural, Duece Duece, Mayan Microzyme, FlavorFul, Hum-Bolt, Humboldt Roots, Myco Madness, Sea Mag, which is going to run a little over $200.00. This is 4 times what I am currently paying for my nutes but I will gladly pay this if it is really worth it My qurestion is, has anyone here ever use Humboldt, and if so, what are your thoughts? Any info and or advise would be helpful. Thanks

i am in much the same postion, but using the slightly less expensive humboldt three part system. Had some problems with fox farm getting salty, so i switched to humboldt. i too am curious if anyone has tips/problems with the line. already decided to use molasses instead of the Honey Carbs (it's derived from cane molasses).

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | humbolt i'm sure is good, but its very pricey and id feel safer going with Organic Roots (made in Oregon), or if you wanted to pay for Humbolt nutrients you might as well get advanced nutrients. Their brands like iguana juice seem like great products. I'm trying earth juice now, which is organic and reasonably priced..but havent had enough time to let you know how well it works

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Not to bring an old thread up but it's not that old and I also have some input, and questions.. I heard that Humbolt was indirectly owned by the same people as AN... They also said AN was more for Hydro, and Humbolt was the soil/soiless nutrient line... I don't know if this is true, just something I heard from the owner of my local grow shop. I also currently use Fox Farm but I am switching to Humbolt this time. Does anyone have any reviews yet? Last edited by TheOriginal; 10-06-2009 at 05:30 PM..

I have been using these the past year, and had great results. I use the Master A & B, and some koolbloom liquid. maybe a root stimulant here or there. i have had a much tastier and heavier yeild, very resin coated. As for the Oneness program be aware that you have to mix the nutes up in a res and let them stabilize for 24+ hrs before you water your plants with them, so if anyone uses them and gets funky ph readings this is why. Dont try and adjust the ph it will stabalize.
