Question Buddha Bloom/Grow Questions...
permalink

Greetings fellow horticulturalists! I just recently picked up a quart ea. of Aurora's Buddha Grow and Buddha Bloom and was looking for some advice on dosing.

First thing first....they are outdoor with soil

I know to reduce the mixture when first introducing new nutes, but is that only at the first feeding? Also, what is a good "rule of thumb" for fertilizer. Some bottles say every other watering, while others recommend every two/three weeks. I was told by a couple of members that it is dependent on the plant's appearance. I have been on a feeding schedule of every friday but that was with fish emu.

Other question...my plants are in week 9 now and the largest just entered flowering. Should I use a mix of grow and bloom or just do the grow at first? I plan on doing grow on the others until flowering is evident. I certainly appreciate any advice and just love this forum!

Organics you can start around half strength. Espescially with plants your age. As for amount and how often...Thats all up to your plants. I personaly hate schedules, and would rather look the plant over before I feed. Look for signs of specific nutrient problems, nutrient burns, lockout problems...

Id use the grow till the end of first week flowering, then switch over.

Some people mix the grow/bloom the first week or two. I'd just rather give it the last "veg" feeding then. Ive switched to bloom nutes first week of flower before and was in desperate need of nitrogen before mid flower. That week or two of stretch at 12/12 causes plants to use up lots of nitrogen.
