Has anybody, or is anybody using this product? A friend of mine switched from Advanced Nutrients to Humboldt and isnt having very much luck with his plants now.

To those that have had some experience with Humboldt, is there any tips or tricks that you could share?

Thanks

I've never used them. But I always start at 1/4 strength and work up ie- if asks for 1 cup, use 1/4 cup.

Let the plant tell you what it wants. If you start at 1/4 strength and your not seeing burnt tips (classic sign of over fert) , up your nutrient strength next feed until your reach a happy medium that your plant likes

Hi,
I've use this stuff, I actually went to humboldt and talked to them all about their line. It looks like Advanced Nutrients Line, but when I was talking to the guy he said that they are different. You use Master A & B as your base, then depending on strain specific applications is where you strat buying their additives. I bought a gallon of the Master A & B and just ran out, so I have to go get more. It is a really simple 2-part nutrient, and that's all you need to get started. The guy actually advised me against buying anything other than the base nutrients.

On the other hand Advanced Nutrients sold a friend $600 worth of product all up front telling him he could use the ENTIRE line of additives and nutes.

Hope this helps.
