Well it looks like the FS by GH has murdered all the beneficial bacterias within my pots and is the cause of my wilting plants. I've read that these 2 products helps to build, replace and maintain those microrganisms the plants need to thrive on. I'm planning on heading to the shop today and need to know which one to get that will turn things around in my garden. I'm already using AN products, which is why I'm leaning towards them. Last time I added something by another company, i.e FS by GH, IT MADE MY PLANTS SICK! ![]() But then again, Hygrozyme, as I understand has been around for a while. I'm looking for a magic bullet of some sort. Something to bring me back to where I was last Thursday before I added the FS by GH.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i use something called, "earth ambrosia/earth nectar." you mix the 2 together and they become charged/alive. once you mix it, the clock is ticking on how long you have to use it. it's only viable for an hour once mixed, i think. it's good for all growing methods, including outdoors. pretty much all of the "zyme" products do the same thing. (i think they are way overpriced too. price always influences my choices, lol.)

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well I ended up getting the Hygrozyme. I had ran off before you guys posted. I'm slightly worried about using it, but I think its safe considering its organic. I had used Flora Shield by GH with my nute solution almost a week ago, and almost murdered my plants within hours. Then I find out that it has hydrogen peroxide in it. I guess FS kills all the bad stuff, and the good stuff the plants need to thrive on. So I purchased this enzyme stuff to hopefully get them back on track, or if anything help soothe any burn or what have you. I noticed the roots begining to get dark beige on my FLO when I changed out her pot a few days ago.

I'm about to try out my Hygrozyme on 1 of my plants, to see if it will liven things up. Before I start, is it safe to use this stuff in my solution. The directions are slightly missleading. It implies that it's a cleanser, but people use it as an additive to their nute solutions. There's a label on the bottle that says *USE DURING ALL GROWING STAGES* Yet, so did the Flora Shield. Can anyone clarify? I know this all sounds stupid, I was hoping to hear some reassuring words from anyone who has used this before and what they do for success.

It looks like it worked because I may now be able to take cuttings from this one before letting her move on to greener pastures. Not sure this is the best thing to do, but when you check the scent of the Flora Shield and the Hygrozyme, the Flora Shield has an almost bleach like scent where as the Hygrozyme smells like some kind of syrup. That alone made me feel more confident in applying it to my girls. ![]()

6ml hygrozyme per gallon and I have never had an issue. The suggested dose is higher but I have found that 6ml does the job. And as far as cheaper, what is the cost of root rot? Just a thought...

![]() ![]() | I'll have to side with the Hygrozyme. When I did use it (it's pricey) my roots were huge, healthy and I'd have to say since I stopped using it my yield has dropped. When I can afford it though, it tends to be good stuff. This is used with GH flora series with kool bloom and nectar during flower. Just because it's good stuff doesn't mean to use a lot though. I followed the directions on the bottle and then just used half. Worked great.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have used hygrozyme for about a year now and I can say I have had nothing short of spectacular results. The poster EMj is referring to must not have experience with it. Though I agree I wish I did not have to use a thing, if you don't have a chiller, both hygrozyme or aquashield are great products. I have had ZERO root problems for over a year now. None, zip. Nada
