It could be falling back out of solution as you mentioned...or something else in your nutes is falling out of solution. Sometimes a large pH increase can do that too...so obviously if you have an acid res and add a base which is what this stuff is, then your going to be having some action going on there....as long as the white cloud dissappears I wouldn't worry at all.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I find the "white cloud" to be the silica falling out of solution. I add my ProTekt very slowly to the nute solution and therefore avoid the precipitation.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | silicon helps in the formation of cell walls, that why it helps weak plants. the stronger your cell walls the more rigid your plant will be. so your 1ounch bud doesnt break the branch it sits on. the plant can extract the needed amount from the soil normally. but if you are using a soil less peat mixture or something like that you might want to look into it. but if you like stringing up buds then dont even worry about it. edit: found this:Silicon (Si) is found as a component of cell walls. Plants with supplies of soluble silicon produce stronger, tougher cell walls making them more heat and drought tolerant. There is also some evidence that silicon plays a role in the prevention of fungal infections in the case of tissue damage.
