7X8 Room - Flower 2X 600 Watt HPS 1X 4 Tray Aerojet Window AC unit One 600 will be used with the Aerojet unit which has a 3X3.5 footprint Second 600 will be used for soil plants in a 3X3 area. 2X4 Rubbermaid Shed - Clones/Mother plants 1X 400 MH 6 Inch Vortex fan with insulated ducting venting shed into larger flower room. 45 site Aeroponic cloner Strains 10X Nirvana Snow White Feminized Seeds 10X Nirvana Northern Light Feminized Seeds 10X Nirvana AK 48 Feminized Seeds I choose 600 watt ballasts instead of 1000 due to light penetration not being an issue. Plants tend to remain under 2 ft in height. Strains picked will hopefully accommodate this. Any criticism of my set up would be appreciated. I would prefer to get this perfect the first time. I have done 6 previous grows with varying results. 1 completely organic grow using teas was a failure, 2 grows using fox farm trio with good results, 2 grows using Pure Blend Pro with excellent results, and one aeroponic grow with Pure Blend Pro that was a failure...I allowed them to veg too long and encountered height issues. All grows using soil were Fox Farms soil. I have $500 to get the necessary soil, nutrients, and any additionals. I had good experiences with Fox Farm Ocean Blend and Light Warrior mediums so I'm going to stick with that. The problem is that I havn't been doing this for some time now and don't recall any of the nutrient ratios I was using at the time so its like I'm starting all over again in that regard. I've been researching nutrients and have discovered Advanced Nutrients products. I've read numerous reviews both in favor and against. Seems that the commercial growers favor the GH line due to cost. This isn't being done for profit and I would like to have the headstash of headstashes. Do the costs associated with advanced nutrients outweight the hassles of other nutrients or is it all hype? I've located a Advanced Nutrient package online that contains the following: Micro 1 liter Grow 1 liter Bloom 1 liter F1 Fulvic Acid 1 liter Big Bud 1 liter Overdrive 1 liter Regular Price is $134.70 You pay $121.23 I've seen many complaints about Advanced Nutrients price point, however, this doesn't seem abnormal in comparison to other nutrient lines and their respective suplements. I would add Final Phase to this package. Is there anything the package lacks that you would add? If Advanced Nutrients is indeed designed for bud does that eliminate the need to add Cal-Mag Plus as a supplement? Anyone with experience using Advanced Nutrients 3 part base in a soil application, Fox Farms soils in particular? Finally, are people adding dolomite for additional PH buffering in Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil. I'm not completely sold on Advanced Nutrients if it comes off as that and am open to ratios for Pure Blend Pro as I've had good experiences with it. I mostly need clarification so I don't make stupid mistakes. | ||
