20 dollars will barely get you enough fertilizers to veg a small crop, much less flower it.

My experience with nutrients is that the better quality the better growing experience.

Understandable that money is tight for some. Uhm you will want to find some nutrients in your local area that will save you money on the shipping.

You could go organic and mix your own fertilizers there are pages dedicated to doing just that.

Look on ebay or read up on some organic teas.

You can get guano for like $5 a pound.

You will probably need at least 40.

You will need at the least... A veg base nutrient, and a flower base nutrient. Cheapest you will find is around 10-20 dollars a quart or liter.

Id save up some more to get something good. Its not like it goes bad after a few months.

Also, Would you like to use chemical nutrients or organic nutrients? Hard to make any recomendations without knowing.

Peace.
