I have been using Botanicare Pure Blend Pro grow which is 3-2-4, furring the vegetative stage. I have read that two weeks before the flowering stage that I should switch to a fertilizer that is lower in nitrogen and higher in phosphorus. Should I use the same brand's version of the flowering stage fertilizer which is 2-3-5, or can you recommend a brand of fertilizer? Thanks, Insomniac

I personally don't use it (Besides CalMag+ and Sweet) Someone I'm sure will post some experience, but here is a link to a feeding schedule from Botanicare which may help you out: http://www.hydrofanatics.com/schedul...g_feed2_sm.pdf

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think you mean 2 weeks after 12/12 Cutting off nitrogen 2 weeks before flowering is the LAST thing you want to do. You actually want to give it its last veg feeding in those first 2 weeks of flower. Then switch to the pro blend bloom. But if you cut the N that early your plant will hate you for it.

I read on another site that said: "too much nitrogen delays flowering" and that some growers double the P two weeks before switching lights to 12/12..

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Too much nitrogen will cause burn before it delays flowering. Without giving your plants Nitrogen durring that stretch phase, they will be almost yellow in week 3-4 of flower.
