I think one of my plants has a Mg dificiency. I only have 2 plants. They are in a 10gal aquarium. I have a GE Clear 200watt (3980 Luminens) for light. I water each plant with equal ammounts of water. 1/4 to 1/2 cup in the morn. Once I get home from work I check to see if the soil is still moist.
One plant is doing great...strong stem and leaves. The other plant the lower leaves are yellowing and curling up on the edges. They have been up and growing for about 3wks and are about 6" tall. Is this a dificiency case? I have fertilized once with a 20-20-20 ratio.

Does the water drain from the Aquarium? Rotten soil will cause the leaves on a plant to turn yellow. If air can't get to the soil it's rotten. If there are no holes in the tank, oh well....

The tank has a heater on the bottom. I think I am going to transplant. The thing is...even the new foliage tips is turning yellow. I want to stop the yellowing before it gets too bad.

Aquariums are terrible to grow in. The plants absolutely must have drainage.
