| I was just wondering if you use regular micracle grow for vegetation, should you use what the box says for indoor plants constant feeding or a more dilute mixture? Also, any thoughts on what is a good time to start using using fert, as far as when they are young seedlings? thanks for the knowhow- l kid | ||

| I don't know how much the name brand matters, as long as it's good quality used in the proper ratios at the right time. I use 5-15-5 on young plants, switch to 20-20-20 for veg, start bloom with 15-30-15(bloom) and switch to 10-60-10(super-bloom) to really add bulk before leaching to finish them off. From there there are hundreds of amendments you can play with.... D9 | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just to add a bit to that ... Don't use the the ferts that increase soil acidity (unless of course you have a alkaline problem; which I think is pretty rare). Some of the Miracle Grow high N ferts for specific plants will increase soil acidity such as Miracle Grow for Roses; don't use this. Also be sure that these ferts contain the micro-butrients as well or you will have to add them in to your mix. The brands Dr,Sticky mention are good ... Peter's makes a couple mixes that are good as well. Also, never start using this stuff at full strength or you WILL burn your plants!! Start at at least 1/3-1/4 strength. Good Growing LB | ||

| Thanks a bunch! The box says 1 teaspoon to 1 gallon for constant watering/feeding. Should I use this or go 1/3 strength of that? Also, what micro nutrients should I look for? How or what else should be added to get those nutrients? Thanks to all you experienced growers- | ||
