Im wondering what fertilizers to use on my buds, they are about 3-4 inches tall each. My mom has tomatoe plant fertilizer that she uses on other plants too, would this be ok? What excactly would be best for my buds and make them grow faster?

hey, i use bat guano, and worms in the soil, water with half strength tomatoe miracle grow. also, make sure that your soil isnt too dense, it needs to have good drainage. i dont know what kind of dirt youve got, but the bagged stuff you get at nurseries is only good if you mix it with alot of sand or other mineral soil to improve drainage, otherwise, your roots will rot from being too wet

Now im am flowering so i was thinking of using a 18-24-16 and watering 1 every 2 weeks.
my question was should i not use that plant food and should i water more or less?

Use what works for you, mainly don't be impatent. Burn1down has good advice about soil and drainage.
Tirespin....to quit spinnin you gotta ease up, you can't rush em. It's easier to correct a deficency than an overdose. Try starting at half strength every watering, slowly increasing strength till signs of overfertilizing show then use a little less than that.
Use a high P fert in bloom, like 15-30-15 or 10-60-10.
If you're in soil don't worry so much about pH, a little lime helps a lot.

When you start to flower, use schultz 5-30-5
bloom plus or anything with a "high" phosphorus content to promote bigger buds. I got mine at menards.

lots of luck
