| Alot of hydro solutions have tints or hues due to the fertilizer content. This could sway your reading if you use colormetric tablets or strips, depending on the intensity of the solutions color. .. Of course if your not anal and obsessive the minor deviation due to the color of the solution really shouldn't sway your reading a significant amount. I'd say get a decent digital ph pen or meter and not one for soil. Make sure the meter is for solutions. Otherwise get a pond test or aquarium test kit. The keep it simple I'd buy a bottle of up and a bottle of down. Nitric or Phosphoric acid for up and KOH or NaOh for down ..but then again what the hell do I know? | ||
